Are you an Apple Authorized Service Provider?
The short answer is, Yes! Computer Resource Center is an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
So, what does this mean?
We are able to perform the same in-warranty and out-of-warranty repairs that Apple would be able to do for you on your Apple iMac, Mac Pro, and all Apple laptops like the MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro.
We do all repairs on site with parts directly from Apple and very rarely do we ever have to send a repair into Apple for service.
This may vary with the Apple iPad and Apple iPod. In some instances, these repairs may have to be mailed into Apple for service as Apple's policy is that no Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider can replace individual parts on these devices. However, in those rare cases, we can facilitate a mail-in repair with Apple to have your device fixed as quickly as possible.
At this time we are NOT authorized to work on Apple iPhones or Apple Watches.
Do you provide 24/7 computer monitoring software?
Yes, through our
CRC Pro Support program.
The CRC Pro Support program will monitor both Apple and PC Computers by proactively spotting issues with hardware health detection, hard drive read/write issues, software update notification, backup monitoring, anti-virus monitoring, operating system update notifications, printer connection issues, and network connectivity.
This software program will work on servers and workstations and gives us a snapshot of the overall health of your computer in order to help us get to issues before they become serious.
What is Malware?
Malware, or malicious software, is a blanket term used to describe any piece of computer software which directly acts against the computer user with malicious intent. This can include computer viruses, worms, Trojan horses, ransomware, spyware, adware, and scareware.
The purpose of Malware can vary by design, but in general, malware is used to either disrupt computer usage, gain access to user information, or to extort money from a computer user. Malware can come from many different sources including “drive-by downloads” from visiting websites, downloading infected programs, clicking social media links to infected websites, and email attachments.
Can Macs get Malware?
