VISION AND DETERMINATION

ABOUT US

Building Capacity Outreach, a non-profit, was created through our passion to want change in the lives of at-risk girls back in our respective homeland in Africa -- Liberia and Zambia. Before we migrated to the United States, our belief that these young at-risk girls should not be driven into lesser conditions than their male counterparts.. We believe there should be no place for injustice against girls. If the world will not give girls the simple kindness it is willing to give boys, now, we can collectively build a world where girls will have a fair chance to succeed. Will you join us in driving this goal?

This brings to mind something Gandhi who once said: "Be the change you want to see in this world."

We are committed to bringing change to the lives of at-risk girls who are marginalized. Social Change can be realized if we are willing to act collectively. We do believe in the potential of girls and  we are willing to act now, we are determined to  build a better world for both boys and girls to participate equally. The time is now for us to use this opportunity to  make the difference and touch the lives of so many girls who are depending on us to transform their lives.

As Lyndon Johnson once said, "Tomorrow is ours to win or lose." We thank our supporters, donors, family and friends for contributing to this cause to realize our dream for the benefit of our girls.Together, we can dream for a better world where girls are welcome at the table of success. Let us make the dream come true!

We end with encouraging words of President Ellen Johnson Sirlief of Liberia who said,

"If your dreams don't scare you, they are not big enough."
